Success Story

From 1/2 a minute; to Half Marathon in 6 months.

At the age of 59 I could have been in danger of thinking that the achievement of physical fitness was something I could only dream about. I have never been a 'sporty 'person and have battled weight gain most of my adult life. So in September 2008 I contacted Vision Personal Training Drummoyne and have never looked back. Due to the guidance given during my Personal Training sessions I have achieved and sustained my weight loss goal; am fitter than I have ever been in my adult life; love my work and life generally; have a tonne of energy and have overcome several conditions that creep up on people my age - borderline Type 2 diabetes, cholesterol and elevated blood pressure - just to start! I am now a regular entrant in 1/2 Marathons and love what regular exercise does to and for me! Some people say they don't have enough time for exercise - I say even just a few minutes a day is an investment in health and well being that can bring great joy, happiness and sense of well being into your life - no matter what your age. Finally I would like to say that I could not have achieved any of this without VISION PERSONAL TRAINING - the fantastic team of trainers at Drummoyne who have inspired and influenced me - and continue to keep me accountable for maintaining the happiness, well-being and energy I now enjoy. No energy to full of beans!! In 2009 I was overweight and didn't have enough energy to keep up with my busy work schedule. Personal Training has been the biggest influence to my adult life helping me lose 18kg in my 9 months at Vision Drummoyne. The key to my success has been Vision's structured nutrition plans, and knowing that I have an appointment with my Personal Trainer Charles. I am proud to say that now I get many compliments on my appearance. My energy levels are through the roof. Thank You Vision!
