Success Story

It was September 09 and I was having dinner with my family on my birthday when they gently reminded me again that I really needed to lose some weight. I was not sleeping well, eating way too much, not exercising properly and at over 100kg was very obese for my 179cm height. Something had to change! The next day I arranged to meet Wendy at Vision PT St Ives. From the start the very simple Vision PT eating and exercise program made it easy for me to focus on achieving my 9kg weight loss goal over the first 8 weeks. By the end of November 09 I have reached my initial goal and am well on the way to achieving and maintaining my long term goal of 80kg. I am sleeping better and feel really fit for the first time in ages. The really nice additional surprise for me is the really positive response from my family who are slowly getting used to having a healthier, happier more relaxed and fun husband and dad around.

I began my journey with Vision personal training in Nov 2008. Although the ride was sometimes bumpy, with the continued help and support of my trainer and the other staff members I reached my goal losing a total of 14 kgs and 4 dress sizes. The Vision "vision" is to look at all aspects of your lifestyle and work on improving them. It's not just exercise- it's the whole package. From goal setting, shopping tours, Fat loss seminars to Fat loss challenges, I have learnt so much more about the nutrition side of things and for the first time I feel very confident I am now equipped with the tools necessary to maintain this weight loss.
