MOSMAN COUNCIL POLICY
Personal Trainers and the Use of Public Space I am sure you are aware of the concerns that all the Council’s have regarding the training of clients in public areas. Well we have great news for you. Thanks to the efforts of Fitness Australia, Fitness NSW and the Personal Trainer Council of NSW, there has been an overall outstanding result and agreement made with the Mosman Council: Fitness Australia registered Personal Trainers do not have to pay a licence fee to Mosman Council for utilising their space This agreement sees each Fitness Australia registered Personal Trainer saving $500.00 each year in licence fees. The result is very positive and shows that the Mosman Council acknowledges and respects the standards Fitness Australia has in place for their fitness professionals. It is important that you the Personal Trainer understands why these polices have been put in place and what is required for you to do to maintain utilising the Mosman council areas trouble free. The council has ‘come to the party’. We must make sure we abide by their conditions and remember that the use of public space is for everyone. The view the Mosman Policy document please CLICK HERE.
