Oat and Nut Slice

Here is a tasty snack you can leave in your car or bag for busy days. High in fibre to keep you full until your next meal.

Ingredients (12 servings)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup raw almonds
  • 1½ tablespoons of olive or canola oil
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup of Pureharvest almond milk
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Method
  1. Process 2 cups rolled oats in blender or food processor until they become flour like.
  2. Mix oat flour with dry ingredients (except coconut) in a bowl.
  3. Add all wet ingredients to the dry mixture and stir well.
  4. Spray baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  5. Add mixture to dish and sprinkle coconut on top.
  6. Bake at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes and allow to cool.
