About The Owner - Shaun Burn

A highly driven and ambitious athlete, Shaun Burn’s passion for health and fitness started at a very young age. A local Blue Mountains boy, Shaun spent his youth running, cycling and playing in the bush. Throughout his teens, Shaun developed an interest in mountaineering and rock climbing which led him to undertaking his technical mountaineering course and a climb to the summit of Mt Alymer, New Zealand. Like a disease, the thrill and accomplishment was contagious and Shaun knew that one of his dreams was to climb all 8000m+ Summits in the world. He spent everyday working towards this goal and used running to keep his fitness in check. At the Age of 22, Shaun was asked to join the Team at Vision Personal Training at Baulkham Hills. He initially saw this as a great career to keep him motivated towards his climbing dreams. What Shaun didn't realise that this was the start of new passion. Shaun quickly became entrenched in the process of helping others achieve greatness in their health and fitness. He has helped clients and trainers alike accomplish momentous achievements including massive weight loss, marathons, triathlons, ocean swims, adventure races and Ironman’s. Over the past 4 years Shaun has completed 3 Half Ironman’s, 5 Half-Marathons, a marathon and last year completed Ironman Cairns. After four years at Vision, Shaun is the Director of Vision Baulkham Hills. Shaun’s principle in life is very simple, “Work hard, Have fun and Give back”. Everything Shaun tackles he does it with dedication, passion and the drive to succeed greatness. Shaun is so proud to be leading the team a Vision Personal Training Baulkham Hills in 2015.
