If you've been into a health food store recently there is no doubt you would have seen Himalayan Rock salt, and like most people you've probably wondered what it's doing in a health food store. Salt is supposed to be bad for us right? Wrong!
Himalayan Rock Salt contains numerous minerals and elements that are found within our bodies such as sodium chloride, sulphate, calcium, potassium and magnesium. The big difference between Himalayan Rock salt and your standard table salt is that the table salt is stripped of most of its minerals, bleached and processed using other chemicals and heated up using very high temperatures.
