My journey with Vision Bondi started back in 2016, but a few months in, a combination of factors (shift work, major professional exams and being sent up the coast to regional NSW with work for several months) meant that I had to step away. However, using the Vision tools, I continued to make major lifestyle changes and slowly but surely lost the kilos.
Back in Sydney permanently, I returned to Vision in July this year, with new goals - to lose the last few kilos, and to build muscle; specifically, to build muscle which would help with my newfound passion, ocean swimming! With the help of my Trainer, I have lost 8kg (while building 1kg of muscle) and dropped my body fat percentage from 24% to 20.5% - putting me in the "athlete" range for females!
Since joining Vision, I have gone back to a swimming squad and started sand running, which if you had told me I would be doing a couple of years ago, I never would have believed! A month ago, I took part in the Bondi Splash n Dash (my first run/swim event) and a week later came 4th in my age group in the Coogee Island Cool Water Ocean Swim Challenge.
My Trainer Antonio has kept me motivated is my most enthusiastic supporter. He even knew my results for my swims before me! He tailors my programme each time to help me reach my new goals. With his help, I can't wait to see what I can do next!
