When Miranda started at Vision Personal Training Darlinghurst on August 1st, she was feeling very demotivated and flat having not trained for some time. Her main goals when she started were to lose 20kgs getting back down to 57kgs and to get back into running- first completing a 10km race but ultimately completing the New York Marathon in 2017 in under 4hours.

''I had a couple of very challenging years and my health and fitness had taken a back seat. The path ahead seemed long and overwhelming''

Miranda had not exercised for some time and her eating habits were fairly emotional at times meaning that to achieve her 9week goal of losing 6.5kgs was going to mean a lot of change.

''Looking back I don't know what made me walk into Vision Personal Training that day - it was out of character and well  beyond my comfort zone. An hour later, I walked out with a plan and a goal and a sense that maybe I could achieve it''

In her first 9 weeks, Miranda ended up losing 7kgs, 11cms from her waist and 8cms from her hips and completing the 9km Blackmores Bridge Run.

Miranda has now gone on to losing over 11kgs, run a 10km Trail Run, another 10km run, she has 3 of her close friends training with us now and is also inspiring several of our other clients by organising her own run group who have nicknamed her ''coach". Genuinely one of the nicest people you are likely to meet, Miranda is so enthusiastic and passionate about not only her training but also helping others. Thank you Miranda and keep up the hard work.
