Murphy started his health and fitness journey without the ability to run for longer than 30 seconds, hold his body weight in a push up or plank, struggled with groceries and even got winded walking upstairs! He's come a long way since then and has now lost over 8% body fat, run his first half marathon (21km!) in Melbourne and can easily knock out a couple of sets of push ups and chin-ups.
He puts the changes down to some simple nutrition changes like eating more of a balanced diet and knowing what foods matched his goals for changing his body composition. He also attributes his results to the ongoing support and guidance from the Vision community - trainers and other members alike!
He now has his eyes set on the 2020 Canberra Marathon in April and also competing in a fitness modelling competition in mid-2021! Congratulations on an awesome transformation Murphy, we're super proud of you.
