I have always struggled with my weight as long as I can remember but in 2009 I found myself on a walking stick and facing spinal surgery, where I was told that the best I could expect was to be able to walk without pain but anything else would be a bonus.
I commenced my journey four weeks' post-surgery after being informed of the probable need for further surgery if I did not lose weight.
Since then, I have lost 30kgs, improved my health and fitness, ticked off some amazing bucket list items such as; completing a sprint Triathlon, various Fun Runs, completed Kayak Sydney Harbour and the Centre Point Tower Stair Climb to name a few.
My family and friends as well as the Vision Personal Training family at Bangor have been there for my whole journey, the ups and downs.
