After many months of feeling tired and generally stiff and sore, particularly in my knees, I knew I had to do something about increasing exercise and getting fit. I kept putting it off and then I injured my shoulder while pruning a tree. It turned out I had a full tear of the rotor cuff.
Acting on advice from my Physiotherapist, I joined the program at Vision Engadine with the main aim of building strength and mobility. My Trainer, Marco Schauer, discussed my shoulder issue with my Physiotherapist and together they devised an exercise plan that would get results without damaging my shoulder further.
I thoroughly enjoyed the program and for me there have been three main rewards. First, I now enjoy much better mobility and general feeling of well-being. Second, I lost 11 kilos. Third, I am much better informed about a balanced diet due to the excellent educational resources available through the program.
