For years before starting with Vision I had tried to lose weight so many times but I always ended up yo-yoing about 10kg. When I realised I could barely fit into my work uniform and knowing they didn't come in a bigger size I decided I needed to make a real lifestyle change and one that would stick.

Gyms have always intimidated me; I even paid for a year at one and only attended a handful of times. Despite this I very nervously contacted Vision Kogarah to see if it might be the right fit and from the very first day I felt so welcomed by both the trainers and other clients.

I dove in headfirst deciding if I was going to do this; I was going to do it right.  Ringing the bell most weeks has been a fantastic motivator and it's a great feeling to have everyone cheering and celebrating your successes with you.  When I have harder weeks the same people are there to lean on and to help get you back into the right frame of mind. 

Between the training with Matt (including mid week reminders to stay on track), the group classes (which I have learnt to love) and the ever-important food diary I have been able to lose 25kg in just over 6 months and I feel the amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can achieve in the next 6 months (and beyond) with the same amazing support and encouragement from the Vision family.
