After having an ACL knee reconstruction, the weight just piled on. My turning point was hitting 100 kg! I was an overweight 23-year-old that was hating life. That's when I decided to join Vision and it was one of the best decisions I ever have made!
I was my biggest obstacle, I kept finding excuses not to do things or giving myself reasons to eat things, if I did a weight session, I would treat myself or if I was asked to join a group class I used to make up ridiculous excuses as to why I couldn't. It took me about two months to realise what I was doing wasn't helping. I finally gave in and tried the Vision way for a week or two, to see if what I was told would actually work and it did. I had to change my mind set, and trust the trainers.
I now have a completely different outlook as to how I should be doing things. I have changed my eating habits quiet dramatically and exercise more, I finally joined group classes and started doing cardio and love it. Through these classes and the gym, I have made some extremely close friends that push me to achieve my best in and out of the gym.
I have now dropped over 25 kg and am completely and utterly loving my new life.
You'll never regret a workout, but you'll always regret not doing it.
