Eggs are bad for weight loss… FALSE. Eggs provide protein that is essential for building muscle and speeding up your metabolism. They are also great to boost your immune system. The only thing to monitor is the amount of eggs you eat per day as the fat content could creep up. Aim for 2-3 eggs per day.
Weight training makes you bulky… FALSE. Eating in a calorie surplus makes you bulky (bigger). Weight training aids in strengthening your bones, improving posture and developing lean muscle that speeds up your metabolism = weight loss.
Exercising first thing in the morning is the best way to loss fat… TRUE. Performing cardio training on an empty stomach when you first wake up will boost your metabolism for the rest of the day and allow your body to tap into its fat stores straight away.
Alcohol makes you fat… FALSE. The food you eat before, during and after drinking is what contributes to weight gain and/or prevents weight loss. Your body burns the alcohol calories first, meaning the food calories get stored and put on the back burner.
Goal setting is more important than nutrition and exercise… TRUE. There's a great quote that reads "He who has a strong enough why can bear almost any how." The eating and exercise is HOW we get results, but our goals and WHY we want to achieve them will provide the motivation to commit and persist with whatever it takes to get there.
