My personal fitness journey has always been marred by ups and downs. I have achieved some successes in the past and have previously developed a love of running, exercise and fitness. I am an active person, who loves the outdoors and getting amongst it. However, after sustaining a series of injuries, including a back injury, my weight gain and general health spiralled downwards. This was also exacerbated by a lack of work-life balance, which saw me working long hours and overeating to alleviate stress. I recently made a choice to turn this all around and kickstart my focus on health and wellbeing. As a previous client I know that Vision works, so I was super keen when I heard there was a local Studio in Mortdale opening. I have been with Vision Mortdale from their beginning and I am totally loving it. I love the atmosphere and the 'community feel,' which keeps me motivated to turn up for training. But most importantly it is the attention to detail. My trainer Randal is impressive. He has communicated with my physio to provide highly tailored training, working around my injury, while also getting me stronger and moving again. The weekly check-ins around food and nutrition help keep me accountable and on-track. Although I have a lot further to go, I am so happy with my journey so far. It is steady, realistic and injury free! I have lost weight, but more importantly I feel great. I have a lot more energy, I feel fitter and my headspace has definitely improved. Thanks to the team at Mortdale Vision I feel as though a new healthy, fit and active me is now a reality.
