I was very scared to start my journey as I had a history of injuries, mainly my back. Every time I started exercising I would hurt my back and end up giving up all together.
The friendly, supportive environment at Vision Neutral Bay made coming in easy. I started very slowly with my exercise and slowly built up my confidence.
VVT made tracking my food and exercise easy. It was a big part of my weight loss success. Being able to have my Trainer check my food and give me feedback was very helpful. Watching my macros change and tracking my progress was also a big motivation.
As my confidence grew, so was what I thought I could achieve. I started with a goal of 5kg weight loss and to be able to exercise pain free consistently. I'm now down over 18kgs.
I now really enjoy exercise and coming into the Studio every morning is the best way to start my day.
I have now competed in many Vision events including multiple 10km Fun Runs, a Triathlon as part of team Sneak Out, the MS 24hr Mega Swim, a cause that is very close to my heart. The biggest achievement for myself is having completed two Half Marathons after being told I may never run again. This achievement is what I am most proud of during my time at Vision Neutral Bay.
