I train less, eat more and I've lost 14% Body Fat!*



Tell me about your life before Vision?

I've always been fit and a regular gym goer, but I had hit a rut before vision, I was going to the gym for hours at a time and multiple times a week but still wasn't seeing the results I wanted. 

What Results have you achieved?

I've changed my body composition completely, I've drop 14% body fat! I'm the strongest and fittest I've ever been and have so much more energy!

How has life changed for you?

The way I think about the gym and weight loss has changed so much.
I look forward to going to the studio and working out, and having a set routine. I also realise what a huge impact food and alcohol have on getting my results. It doesn't matter how hard you work in the gym it just doesn't work if you don't eat well too.

What is your favourite thing about training at Vision?

Jesse Spinks! She's a great trainer! We have good fun in our workouts and work hard. We do a lot of weight training which I love. I'm not great at the nutrition side of things and she continually gives me guidance and encouragement. 

I love the friendly atmosphere. You're not just a number in a big gym. Everyone knows you and is encouraging in trying to help you reach your goals.

4. What are some of the defining moments during your journey? 

I think the 9 week photo was the biggest moment so far. Although I hadn't lost much weight on the scales my whole body shaped had changed! I think it jolted me in to realising that I wasn't in great shape before joining vision despite my frequent gym attendance! I loved the before and after photo it just showed that the hard work had payed off and that the numbers on the scale didn't matter. 

What advice would you give someone in a similar situation to where you were, and is thinking about making a change?

If you're not happy with results at the moment then you need to make a change. Vision PTs will give you the help and guidance to make that change. I didn't realise how many things I was doing wrong prior to joining Vision! Now I feel focused and enthusiastic about the next goals I want to achieve.
