Tell me about your life before Vision?
Life was always busy and I found it difficult to motivate myself to exercise - always something else came up: kids; work; catching up with friends; sleep. I've never been really trim but over the past few years I gained weight and it was increasingly hard to shed.
What results have you achieved?
Since joining Vision, I have lost over 6 kgs, dropped a clothing size and also feel much stronger.
How has life changed for you?
The big change is learning what to eat - less carbs as a lifestyle change. The great thing is that I feel confident and motivated to keep going with losing more weight and getting healthier in a sustainable manner.
What is your favourite thing about training at Vision?
I generally train in the morning - it's great to have physically worked hard before the day starts. And seeing good results is always motivating. Youssef never fails to encourage!
What are some defining moments during your journey?
Losing the first few kilos quickly was a huge motivator. And recently, dropping a dress size and having to buy new jeans!
What advice would you give someone in a similar situation to where you were, and thinking about making a change?
Just begin! Making the start is the first step and try to keep motivated to keep going. Bit by bit, you'll see the results.
