Why don't we get results? Is it because we place the blame on someone else - "When we were out at dinner they ordered for me... and I couldn't say no." Or, do we always find excuses - "I had to work back late last night so I was not able to train."
Or, is it denial - "If I'm good during the week and hit my macronutrients, then I deserve to eat whatever I want on the weekend!"
It's so easy for us to blame, make excuses and be in denial about not achieving our health and fitness goals - but by doing this we are playing the victim. Nothing is ever our fault and we think we deserve more than what we are entitled to.

In my pervious working career as a Television Editor, I used to play Below the Line.
When mistakes were made I would always tried to put the blame onto some else, always made excuse for why something was not quite right and was in denial about why I was so unhappy with my situation.
That was before I started playing Above the Line.
I started taking Ownership for my misgivings, made myself Accountable for my actions and took Responsibility to improve my life and find a career that would make me happy.
By Playing Above the Line we can give ourselves the opportunity to start achieving our goals and turn our dreams into reality. It can be difficult to admit we are fallible, but the rewards are invaluable.
