Kate's reflection- 2 things that helped me lose 40kg's in 8 months*

I walked into the vision studio just shy of 100kg. 8 months later, I have hit my goal and lost almost 40kg.

How did I do it?

1.Motivation & Support.

The team at Vision Personal Training make you feel instantly welcome and positive. Special mention to my forever laughing and smiling trainer, who exudes impenetrable energy in the wee hours of the morning and well after the sun goes down, he will never let you leave without a heart-filled hug.

I have a lot of support from friends and family. This was a vital component for staying on track, whether it's a game of tennis or squash or a walk complete with a gossip sesh.

 

2. Nutrition education.

Vision Personal Training has taught me the importance of wholefood, healthy eating with a wonderful balance of exercise (yes there is a thing as too much cardio, even after having a sneaky cheese burger).

I love a good weekly meal prep and 'may' have adopted an obsession with a daily boiled egg with a side of turkey.

I would say my main challenge thus far has been staying focused. I now understand that a healthy lifestyle is a MUST and a lifetime goal (move over Beyonce, my fitness range will be coming to stores soon).

Don't have any regrets in life, put you and your health as a major priority, trust me, it doesn't feel that bad at all
