I started training at Vision Sylvania with Jeremy as my trainer, to get myself prepared for my up and coming downhill mountain biking race in Thredbo, where I was aiming to place first and be national champion for my age division. During that time, I had lost 3kg prior to the event. I was able to achieve this by following my meal plan Jeremy had set me to fit in with my training and school life.
After I competed at Thredbo and successfully took out the National Championship. It was time to get stuck in and prepare for my national season. During my training sessions we worked on my strength to help improve my riding, along with making sure I was eating the right food as well.
In the last 6 months since starting with Vision I've now dropped over 10 kgs which I'm really excited and happy about. Not only am I focusing on building strength, I've also learnt so much about the importance of improving your nutrition as well.
