I walked into Vision looking to take what I already knew about fitness and take it to the next level. I had been going to the gym for a year or two beforehand and I had stopped seeing the progress I wanted. I initially enquired seeking technical knowledge, as I would end up with little injuries that would sideline me for a few weeks while I recovered.
Since starting at Vision I've seen a strength increase in every area. I've managed to set new personal bests on all my major lifts. I've stopped having little pains when I work out and I stretch now almost as much as I work out.
The knowledge I've gained since being at Vision is the most impressive thing. I've learnt so many different things about my body. When something feels off, I know where to stretch to fix it. I know when I do a workout, what muscles I'm going to use.
The most important thing I've learnt is how important it is to stay accountable to a training plan and your macronutrients. If you don't put in that effort, you won't get the results. My trainer Matt and the remainder of the team at Vision Sylvania are great at providing whatever you need to keep pushing you to that next goal.
