What is Toning and What Does it Mean?*

This works by increasing the size of the muscle (only slightly) which in turn increases the resting metabolic rate of the body. This put simply, means that you burn more energy when sitting on your bum, than you would if you were not engaging in regular strength training. The other important factor here with regards to having more muscle definition is having big enough muscles in the first place to define.

When it comes to losing body fat and becoming leaner, science tells us that at least 70% of your success will come from your nutrition and only 30% from the exercise that you do. With this said, the most important thing you can do in the quest to becoming more toned, is to improve your dietary habits.
