I reflected on life prior to Vision Personal Training, it wasn't until I started seeing results after being at Vision Personal Training for a few months I recognised how I was feeling and the way I viewed my body and mind previously. I can see now I was pretty restricted in the things I thought I could do and was able to do, which stopped me from being as sociable as I would like and as outgoing as I wanted. I still felt like me but I thought I could be a better version of me and I was right! I have always been an active person and thought I had a pretty good handle on nutrition, however when I started to find a few grams and kilos creeping on here and there, and my usual tricks weren't working, I thought I needed to find something else to shake me out of my rut before things got really out of control.

Next minute Tom happened to wander into my work with a free coffee (the key to my heart) and next thing I was in and seeing results! My life is food. Live it, love it, talk about it, think about it, think about my next meal when eating this one, so I was super pleasantly surprised that I was actually encouraged to eat more food to reach my goals. I have also found that my attitude toward food has changed, there is no more good food and bad food, just choices that I know make me feel better and choices that don't give me the results I want, so I now choose to feed myself the things that make me feel good and keep me happy and energised. These beliefs/views have even transferred to eating out situations and travel, I now choose the options that will keep me on track and I don't feel like I am missing out on anything.

Definitely having Tom as my trainer is great, I needed someone on board and on my side. Tom has been a keen bean from day one and just kept pushing me to keep doing things I wouldn't have done on my own. My overall life outlook and positivity and confidence has gone through the roof. My mind, mood and energy levels are now reliable and constant, and people at work are turning to me to ask what it is I am doing and can they have my diet plan so they can get the same results. I'm more than keen to let them know there's no easy fix or one size fits all approach but if they are committed, then there is a place that will help them reach their goals.

I would say give it a go. If you've tried everything else and nothing else has worked (which is where I felt I was), why not see what you can get out of it. I would also say that you really have to be ready to make a commitment to change, and if you can do that, you will definitely see results. Don't cheat the system and it won't cheat you!
