I was always a heavy teenager, eating the wrong foods and not excercising. I had tried going to larger gyms without much success in attending or getting results. My friends were in running clubs which made me feel left out, so i decided to join the weight loss challenge and I have lost a total of 23 kilos including 17 during the challenge. I couldn't have done it without the support of my fellow studio friends who cheered me on and gave me the confidence to ignore the voices in my own head that I couldn't do it. I now fit into my dream dress which I even had to get 5 inches taken in from each side! I feel energetic and confident and exercise is now part of my life.. my next goal is to run a full marathon.
