Tell us about your life before joining Vision?

A few years ago, I was fit and reasonably healthy playing a lot of sport. I had a serious knee injury which basically stopped me from doing anything for a while and I just fell into a hole. I began eating a lot of junk and wasn't doing any exercise at all. I began feeling really tired and stressed at work and was taking it home to my family. I decided I needed to do something about it and joined Vision.

What results have you achieved at Vision?

Joining Vision was the best way for me to get back to my former self. I struggled a little at the start, but the constant motivation from my trainers and being accountable on the scales each week kept me going. I lost 15kg and was feeling great. I now enjoy going to the gym and training. I no longer stop into fast food stores for a quick meal either, they actually turn me off. I have now decided to set myself a goal of a body building competition. This has been challenging so far, but I am looking forward to the final result.

What impact has Vision had on your life since achieving your amazing results?

I feel extremely motivated to get to my goals and I cannot see myself returning to the lazy person I was previously. I feel a lot healthier and my family say I am a much happier person. 

What are some of the defining moments during your journey?

I am a very competitive person, so being accountable on the scales each week motivated me to keep going. Each trainer I have had has been great at pushing me hard to achieve success and making me feel like I can achieve my goals. I didn't think I cared what I looked like, but now when I look in the mirror I feel great about the way that I look and realise that maybe I was unhappy with how I looked before.

What advice would you give someone who is currently thinking about taking a positive step towards changing their health and fitness?

I was holding back a bit at first from joining Vision due to the cost, but now I have taken that step and learnt so much about nutrition and training I'm glad I took that step. The program which Vision provides and the care that every trainer has for the success of their clients is definitely better than anything I have seen before. If you stick to your nutrition and training plans, you will achieve your goals.
