Meet The Owners

Alexandra Anasson

Alexandra Anasson has been in the Fitness Industry for almost 10 years, both in the UK and Australia. A trained dancer, singer and actor, Alex has always been active but decided to make health a career and has never been happier! Alex's journey with Vision Personal Training began as a Client and she was so inspired by her own results and also the results of the other Clients around her she decided to join the Company as a Trainer. Since becoming a Personal Trainer with Vision Personal Training, Alex has helped countless people achieve their goals, been National Trainer of Vision Personal Training's Weight Loss Challenge and opened the third Vision Personal Training Studio in Victoria at Hawthorn in 2013 with her husband Tom (who is also a Personal Trainer). The most fulfilling moment in Alex's career so far has been helping a Sydney mum lose over 30kgs, run a full marathon and see her become the face of a National Vision Personal Training marketing campaign. Alex finds satisfaction each day seeing others get into the best shape of their lives in her studio and loves seeing client find their "inner runner". Alex's love for learning about all things nutrition has also been a key part to her success with clients. Alex is an avid runner (having run 13 full marathons in the last 4 years) but also enjoys weights training, swimming, cycling, boxing and yoga. Whilst continuing to run marathons for fun, Alex has her sights set on completing an Ironman Triathlon in 2017. Alex is an alumni ambassador and running expert for lululemon athletica Australia and was a Telstra Young Business Woman of the Year Award Finalist in 2015 and has a passion for helping to develop and nurture young female Trainers and Fitness Professionals, an area often overlooked in a very male dominated environment! She is also now a registered recreational running coach with Athletics Australia. Alex and her husband Tom opened their second studio in Templestowe in 2016 and are looking forward further expanding their network in Victoria in 2017 and years to come.

Thomas Anasson

Tom Anasson started his Health and Fitness career with Vision Personal Training in 2009. After leading a healthy and active life, he decided it was time to put that passion into helping others turn their dreams into reality. Working within the Vision Personal Training network for over 6 years, Tom has helped countless people achieve their health and fitness goals and continues to do so in Hawthorn, Victoria. One of Tom’s greatest highlights from his career is helping a Client lose over 30kg and running with him to complete his first marathon. Tom has an ongoing thirst for knowledge on nutrition and exercise and a desire to change our communities’ health and fitness. He is a keen marathon runner having completed 6 full marathons and countless half marathons and loves combining travel with completing overseas marathons with his wife Alex.Tom also has a passion for helping to drive the careers of personal trainers and loves that he has the opportunity now with the growth of his studios in Hawthorn and Templestowe.
